My students are always asking if I have videos or asking me to make some.  The challenge has been out of date electronics and software.  Well, the wait is over and I will be posting videos .. woohoo.  In the first video, we start with waist hooping in a forward stance. Next will be waist hooping troubleshooting, then side stance waist hooping, then walking and turning, you get the idea.

Hopefully, the videos will serve as a refresher visual for your home practice. Or, if you've never taken my class, a helpful foundation to begin your hoop journey.

This little guy was cute as a button and probably about five years old. He stopped with his brother and Dad to hoop with us at the Ukrops Monument Ave 10K.

I watched as he picked up a hoop with the biggest smile on his face, stood inside and gave it a whirl (it never touched his body) it went around once and fell quickly to the ground. When it fell, so did the smile from his face.  It was like all the fun drained out of his little body and he was about to give up, defeated.  I ran over, showed him to touch the hoop to his back then spin it.
